Background: Grew up loving funk music in the heart of the Midwest. In fact my dad is one of the funkiest drummers in the world, Mathew (Phatback) Watson of Ebony Rhythm Funk Band, currently featured on STONE THROW RECORDS.  You could say I grew up in the music business.  At the age of 5, I was setting up drums for my pops and learning the in's and out's of the music business. As time went on I develop a love for other types of music including, R&B, Jazz, and Hip Hop.  I met Elastic some years back through a mutual friend via the Indianapolis music scene. The first time I heard an Elastic track, I couldn't believe there was a producer in our area creating tracks so melodic and enjoyable by nature.  Since then, Elastic and I have combined resources to form Sol Villa Productions.  Our goal is to create great quality music and help artists complete their vision and music projects without hurting their bottom line.
